Privacy policy

Luniq apps are privacy-first by design. We do not track you, and your data stays on your device.

Who we are

Luniq is an iOS studio based in Canberra, Australia. You can reach us through the contact form.

The short version

Luniq apps are privacy-focused by design. We do not track you or store your information while you use the app. Everything runs entirely on your iPhone, no account is required, and the geospatial files you open are processed on-device.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. Luniq apps do not collect personal information about you.

  • Location: used on-device only, to show your live position. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.
  • Files you open: processed locally on your device. They are not uploaded.
  • Diagnostics / analytics: Luniq apps do not include analytics or tracking SDKs.

What we do not do

  • No accounts or sign-in.
  • No selling of personal data.
  • We do not track you or store your information.

Third-party services

Luniq apps are distributed through Apple's App Store, which handles purchases and downloads under Apple's privacy policy. We do not use any crash-reporting, analytics, or advertising providers.

Your rights

Luniq is based in Australia and handles personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Because Luniq apps run entirely on your device and we do not collect or store your personal information, there is nothing held by us to access, correct, or delete — your data stays on your iPhone and is removed when you delete the app. If you believe we hold any information about you, you can contact us through the contact form to request access or deletion, and you may also raise a concern with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our apps change. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.
